Debt problem? No, it’s a spending problem

We don’t need a ‘balanced approach’ to the budget crisis, as Harry Reid and the President have talked about. The budget crisis is really a spending problem. The proper way to handle it is to have huge cuts in spending….enough to get the spending in ‘balance’ with the tax revenues. The proper ‘balanced approach’ is to lower the spending so it’s in balance with the income.

Contact your congressman and representative and let them know that we don’t need to raise the debt ceiling, we need to get spending in line with tax revenues!

Great quote from Captain America

Doesn’t matter what the press says. Doesn’t matter what the politicians or the mobs say. Doesn’t matter if the whole country decides that something wrong is something right. This nation was founded on one principle above all else: the requirement that we stand up for what we believe, no matter the odds or the consequences. When the mob and the press and the whole world tell you to move, your job is to plant yourself like a tree beside the river of truth, and tell the whole world -”No, you move.”

Back pain. Getting old?

I don’t know if it’s age related, but I hope not! My back has been hurting for over a week. I’ve also made my first ever (and 2 additional) trip to the chiropractor.  The back is getting better, but still hurts. Sitting at a desk for 10 hours a day doesn’t help matters.

What’s been happening? Mitch turned 14. We had a party for him and his cousin’s birthday on Superbowl Sunday. The kids did a little snowmobiling, we ate tacos and they opened some presents. Oh yeah, we watched the superbowl. The game turned out to be pretty good, as I’m sure you know. The halftime show was terrible. The national anthem wasn’t so hot, either. Now we have to deal with the Packers gloating when the Vikings play them next season.

I’ve been reading a really good book about the founders and their viewpoints about creating a government for our nation. The book is called The 5000 Year Leap. I think the really liberal/left people poo-poo the book, but I like it. It would really be nice to get back to the principles and mindset during the beginning of our country.

I made a couple A/B Switches for guitars. The red one is for me and the black one is for the pastor at church. When we unplug our guitars there is a loud ‘pop’ sound over the sound system. This eliminates that noise by switching toInside the A/B Switch the other output that is not connected to the sound board. There is the obligatory LED that shows what channel you are on. A 9v battery inside gives power to the LED, or it can be powered with an external power supply.

I’m thinking about making these and selling them on my business website. Not sure if the $$ makes sense.

Obama and the Kemp’s Ridley Sea Turtle Brief

I’m not the first to come up with this idea, nor have I really investigated anything related to this idea….but someone should do the research. Maybe we need to find Darby Shaw (writer of the Pelican Brief).

Have you wondered why there’s still oil slick trouble in the Gulf of Mexico? Why has this not been taken care of in the last 61 days since the explosion of the oil well? The rig exploded on April 20th, 2010.

Now, I don’t go to the extreme position that our government had anything to do with the explosion, yet we’ve all been heard about the Obama regime’s policy of not letting a good crisis go to waste.  It would not surprise me if they have been deliberately delaying the resolution and oil cleanup efforts to promote an environmental agenda, including stopping off-shore drilling altogether and implementing the ‘cap and trade’ idea of a carbon tax. The crazy thing is; creating a bigger crisis by sabotaging the oil spill cleanup attempts and causing delays should have the ‘true’ environmentalists screaming at the tops of their lungs. Why don’t we hear much criticism of the lack of clean-up efforts by ‘true’ environmentalists? Oh yeah, I almost forgot. Obama is their guy – they can’t criticise him. If this is truly the case, it shows how environmentalists are not really for the environment, but only for political power and against business.

If the oil was immediately cleaned up, there would be no urgent call for immediate and swift action taken by a SWAT team that PBO appoints to address the matter. These academists which PBO appoints usually have no real-world experience in the urgent matter at hand, but are able only to give advice based on their desired political outcome which must line up with PBO’s agenda. Can you imagine if one of these blue ribbon panels would come up with a solution that goes against the PBO dream of a “fundamentally transformed America”?

Obama needs the disaster to promote his environmental agenda.  He did not immediately waive the Jones Act to let non-US, non-union member employed ships to help in the cleanup. We had offers of help from Canada, Croatia, France, Germany, Ireland, Mexico, the Netherlands, Norway, Romania, Republic of Korea, Spain, Sweden, the United Kingdom, and the United Nations – but they were all turned away.

I have an idea to stimulate the economy of the gulf states. The Obama regime needs to start an ad campaign with PBO (President Barak Obama) on the beaches in the area. You know that PBO won’t go anywhere he’ll be questioned or second guessed. If it’s a guaranteed win for him, you can bet that it’s safe for you to go there. The beaches are open for business! Don’t pay attention to the devastation of the economy, private business, personal liberty and freedom.

It’s Bush’s fault!
