Hunting season starting
I don’t think I’ll go deer hunting this year. Brenda has confiscated my guns, I’m short on cash and have a lot to do
around the house. I did get the boat trailer converted to a utility trailer and can haul the 4-wheeler and deer stand up north – but it will have to wait until next year, if even then. I may give up hunting due to the huge success I’ve had the last three years. OK, if you don’t know, I haven’t even seen a deer during hunting hours at all since starting deer hunting three years ago.
The wood for Holly’s ceiling finally arrived at Menards a couple days ago. I picked it up yesterday (on the aforementioned boat/utility trailer). It’s sitting on the basement floor waiting until Friday morning, when it will be cut and put up. I’m hoping to get it done in one day with the help of my parents. Maybe we can get it painted, too. Then all that’s left is some lights/fans in the ceiling, some wall plates and a little more trim, then finally the carpet, and the kids will be able to move into their new rooms.
